Again, we work on the autonomy and participation of these people in the community, often from their own home or other spaces within their group chosen by them.
Sensitization
Another of the services we provide at our day centre in Calatayud is awareness raising. The aim is to eliminate stigmas and stereotypes that many people with mental health problems suffer from. Thus, we work with educational centres (from primary to secondary school), the general population and companies.
This last point is worth highlighting, as we have found that there are still many stigmas in the workplace regarding people with mental health problems, both when it comes to providing opportunities and when it comes to providing few opportunities for them to adapt to their position.
Through occupational workshops we promote training in social
and labour skills that may be necessary for employment. Some of the actions carried out are: placing signs, controlling and accessing different spaces, distributing newspapers and advertising, etc.
We also provide individualised support in finding employment and keeping your job.
On the other hand, from this day center in Calatayud, we have a special cleaning employment center .
but we also provide our quality mental health resources to the population of the regions of Calatayud, Aranda, Campo de Daroca and Valdejalón .
