Acast , a company specializing in technology and monetization for the podcast industry, has reached a strategic agreement with Azerion , a digital advertising and entertainment media platform that operates in Europe, “to strengthen its presence within the Spanish market,” as reported in a press release sent to the media today, Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
Under the partnership, Azerion will work exclusively with Spanish agencies and brands “to help them plan and execute their audio ad campaigns on podcasts in the Acast network. Azerion will manage both direct and programmatic advertising sales at the local level.”
This agreement will allow
Acast to “continue to strengthen its position in Spain, where it began operating in April 2022 and has seen significant growth since then.” During this period, Acast has added to its Global Network of Creators outstanding Spanish programs such as El Podcast de Cristina Mitre, Mi Latido de Más by Anne Igartiburu, KENSO or the renowned scientific discussion Coffee Break: Señal y Ruido .
